Vote Jeff Garvas For Macedonia City Council November 5th!

Thank you for visiting my campaign website.

In my teen years I began volunteering for charities.  Over the past thirty years I have contributed to the fundraising events of organizations such as the American Red Cross, The March of Dimes, Komen Race For The Cure, American Diabetes Association, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  These experiences molded me into a person drawn to public service and exemplifies why I am the ideal candidate for Macedonia City Council.

In the 2017 race for City Council I received an unprecedented amount of support from our community. A few months after that election a vacancy occurred and a number of residents publicly called for me to be appointed due to my standing in the most recent election. I have been inspired by this continuous outpouring of support and have decided to run again.

When I first declared my candidacy two years ago I ran on a campaign of being a completely independent candidate with no political agendas.

I still believe we need candidates for the Macedonia City Council that choose to be in favor of the citizens and future of Macedonia, independent of any business interests, political friendships, cliques or agendas. I am that candidate.

The only vote I will ask you to cast is a vote for Jeff Garvas. If nobody else in this race earns your vote you can choose to vote for just me alone, exponentially improving my chances of success.

Eighteen years ago, my wife, virtually a lifetime resident of Macedonia, and I built a house in the Springhill neighborhood. Today, our 13-year-old daughter is entering eighth grade at Nordonia Middle School where she is a cheerleader and excellent student. We are here for the long haul, and my dedication to do what is right for Macedonia citizens is driven by my hope that our daughter and her friends will one day choose Macedonia to raise their families.

If elected to Macedonia City Council, I will use my experience in forming public policy at the Ohio Statehouse and my decades of volunteer community service to approach every proposal before Council with an open mind - not a preconceived agenda.

If elected I would continue to offer innovative contributions and ideas, such as how we could have re-written parts of Issue 3 into a credit based system instead of a complicated refund, and come up with fresh ideas such as my popular tax levy & income tax calculator.

I invite you to explore my website and learn more about who I am and share your concerns for the future of Macedonia with me.
